The 6th Plenary Dialogue for Peace in Southern Border Provinces
The Peace Dialogue Panel led by Gen. Wanlop Raksanoh and the BRN delegation led by Uztas Anas Abdulrahman. The 6th Plenary Meeting and Discussion was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with General Tansri Dato' Sri Sulkeefli Zainal Abidin.

On February 21 and 22, 2023, the Southern Border Provinces Peace Dialogue Group led by Gen. Wanlop Raksanoh and the BRN delegation led by Uztas Anas Abdulrahman. The 6th Plenary Meeting and Discussion was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with General Tansri Datosri Sulkifli Zainal Abidin as the facilitator and expert observers as well.The results of the talks Significant progress has been made in establishing guidelines for common practice and a clear time frame to resolve conflicts and bring peace to the southern border provinces as follows:
1. The Peace Dialogue Committee and the BRN delegation agreed to jointly create a “Joint Comprehensive Plan towards Peace (JCPP)” as a guideline to drive forward dialogue in a comprehensive and holistic manner with a clear timeframe. In fulfilling the spirit of the general principles of the speech process The General Principles of the Peace Dialogue Process by the JCPP will have two main contents: reducing violence in the area and organizing consultations with the people to find a political solution.
2. The Parties agreed on a timeline for implementation of the JCPP leading to implementation in 2023 and 2024, in which both parties hope to reach consensus on ending the dispute. Conflict and bring the conclusions from the process to practice in order to solve problems and bring permanent peace to the area in a sustainable manner.
3. The dialogue partners assigned technical working groups of each party to arrange an informal discussion and exchange of views between March and May 2023 in order to jointly complete the details of the JCPP and present it to the committee. Discussed in full in June 2023 to consider approval to start the next step.
4.
